Nowadays most of the cell phones have Bluetooth technology in them so that they can establish connectivity with the Bluetooth headsets with ease. It does not mean that Bluetooth headsets work well only with Bluetooth phones, but then an adaptor might be required to link them with non Bluetooth phones. Great challenge involves in designing good Bluetooth headsets as they cannot be light in weight or smaller in size like the wired versions due to the necessity to include extra electronics and battery inside them. The Bluetooth headsets with a loop around the ear is said to be very comfortable but might be lower in security, while the other model is not very comfortable but might be secure than the former style.
Even though Bluetooth headsets are costlier than the normal headsets, require battery charging and setting up is a little bit complicated, it is required for many reasons. Bluetooth is very much recommended to be used along with cell phones as it is said to lower the radiation of the cell phone affecting the brain of the user. In some countries and states, a person may not be allowed to keep the cell phone in hand while concentrating on driving; this reason calls for the necessity to use headsets. Even if it is found to be legal to use cell phone while driving, using headsets can be very safer to the user.
A wired headset can be a satisfactory and simple solution for many persons, but it might literally tie him to the cell phone. But when he uses a Bluetooth headset, it allows him to have his mobile phone in his car back seat or briefcase and still would help him to make or get phone calls. Bluetooth headsets can also get connected to the computer so that teleconferencing can be made easier.
