To solve the various car problems that are very irritating, Sony Ericsson has introduced the new model of kits that are hands free. The user of this device can know the person calling him without lifting the phone from the display. Rather than depending on the screen, there is an additional feature in this Bluetooth called as the text to speech. Thus the Bluetooth simply informs the user about the interrupter.
The corners of this speakerphone are tilted and also rounded and thus it looks like a parallelogram and not as a rectangle which will be good. However, the performance of this device is quite dreary.
It cannot be considered as a portable device as the same is quite big with the dimension of 130 x 80 x 25 mm. The space of this speaker is mainly dedicated to the set of speakers with 2 watt on the unit’s top and the remaining is shared by the control wheel of the Bluetooth speakerphone. Monochrome OLED is displayed on the frontage of the unit and the bottom houses are attached to the clip of the sun visor. The display is clear and hence the user can see the caller without any disturbance in the concentration of driving.
This speakerphone supports all the connections of Bluetooth and will also get paired automatically with the devices that are known. It will not support the A2DP stereo for playback from the phone via speakers. There is also no FM transmitter for streaming the audio from the calls that the user can make through the system in his car.
Once the phones are paired the device will remember and will switch between them up to the limit of five at a stretch. Even though 5 phones can be connected at a time, one only can be made active at once and the adjustment can be done by switching between the user profiles.
